motif
On Faveup.com, I saw a new design/firm that has a name similar to mine, and it freaked me out. I’ve never seen anyone else use “motif” in their business name, and especially with a “p” start… like puremotif. Most of the time when I tell people my business name, they are like… what? huh? pier motif? what did you say? Then I explain and they say… aaah… that is really nice, i like it.
So, behold, Primo Motif.
I don’t know why but it made me cringe a bit. Seeing something so close. It could be worse, though, right?
Also, I am looking to buy either these, or something similar. I need to take some close up photography of jewelery… and I need some help. Does anyone have experience with Diopters out there? I have a Nikon D70.
The news on my grandma comes tomorrow at 10am. I’m scared.
I'd love it if you subscribed to my RSS feed.

I like pure better as well. Primo sounds to pop singer to me.
I have a macro lens on my camera that takes amazing pictures of jewelry.

“primo” seems like it’s taken from Primo Algeli, a California designer well known for his 1996 Atlanta Olympic poster…among other things…so maybe they stole the “motif” part from you! haha

I’m with Elysa. Primo sounds like a pop singer. Or a circus performer.
I hope it’s good news tomorrow.
