		<description>i have the canon version of the 50mm f/1.8, and it&#039;s my favorite lens in my bag.

using prime lenses i found helps with composition, but for weddings they are tough to use due to the fast pace.

cost-wise it&#039;s a no-brainer.  sure, having the f/1.2 or f/1.4 will give you a stop or two extra, but if you aren&#039;t in low light situations all the time it&#039;s not really worth the extra cost.</description>
