fridays seem to be turning into bulleted lists of randomness
- If you search friday randomness on WordPress, tons of people name their posts like that on fridays. I think everyone is just so over it all. haha.
- I get a bit annoyed on twitter during any political speeches. I think I might stay off from now on. People are just too sarcastic, mean, and unfair. There is so much animosity on both sides. I’m just over it.
- I kind of like Sarah Palin. There, I said it.
- Went to Max & Erma’s last night with D&D, I haven’t laughed that hard in a while. I don’t even know what we talked about.
- I got an email that one of my Niagara on the Lake photos is featured in a “Schmap guide” along with many others … not sure what that is – but i’m so excited about it!!
- MetaCafe is tonight. Come!!
- I’m waiting to hear about 3 potential photography jobs. Plus I have 3 definites before the year is out. I’m so excited about where this is leading me. Is it possible to find your true calling after 4 years in one field?
- My car drama is over, for now. Got my fixed car back and turned in my beautiful black Ford Edge rental. Then at the McDonald’s drive-thru this morning (I know, healthy right?), a black Ford Edge was behind me. So weird.
- Praise band practice was a little bit rough last night
- The kittens are being taken to their new homes over the next 2 weeks. I’m so thankful they’ve all found one!! I know it will be hard, but it hast to be done.
- I’ve been checking out the Anna Shelter. I want to be more involved in animal issues. I just have no more time. But it’s so important to me!
- I am too self-consumed on this blog? Are all blogs self-consuming? Aren’t we all consumed with self all the time? How do we stop?
- Ok, time to go to work now!!! The last 2 days have been very rough, I hope it improves soon.

i think it is indeed possible to find a different calling deeper into your career. and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. (i, too, had visions of finding something i loved and going and going with it, but my tune has recently changed. it’s a choice to let go of my pride wrapped up in my careful plans, and i still struggle with it.)

How did you like the ford edge? I’ve had my eyes on them lately… is it too big?
Don’t feel bad about changing careers. It’s much easier to go to work when you love what you’re doing. Look at me, I do lots of free work… oops did I just say that??
Sarah Palin- is ok with me too. Not sure about the presidential candidates yet.
