hope & graeme family portrait
I’m sorry I’ve been blogger-absent lately. There are 2 reasons why:
- I’ve been slamming busy, as many around me also are
- I’ve been working with the wonderful Kristin Lynch to help me get this blog in working order. Moving this thing around and editing this template has been no picnic, I’ll tell you that.
I took these photos for Hope & Graeme, a wonderful couple from our small group, about a month ago. They have been called to missions and are going in January to work with YWAM in Colorado to serve there and they wanted a family photo they could send out on cards. We took them at their home, which they sold, so it was mainly cleared out but beautiful with hardwood floors and warm colors. I had such a fun time, and I’ve secretly been wanting to photograph their kids for-e-ver because, hello – LOOK AT LYDIA!!! And Jonah was such a ham. Take one like this, no, like this! We had some great outtakes.
This set was all taken with my new D90 and the 18-105mm 4.5 lens, and just used my SB400 flash bounced straight off the ceiling. Seemed to work decently for such a small space. Oh and yes, I did photoshop out the sconces on the wall in the main family photo
I'd love it if you subscribed to my RSS feed.
