Last night, I had a dream that I was dealing with my homeowner’s insurance company. I went to see my agent, but his dad died and he took time off from work, so he was fired. They chose to replace him for, as I recall, “we do not pay out claims; we just take premiums, so he is not needed”.

But my tree split in a wide crack from high winds, and I am concerned that it will crash my house. Who can look at it? Can it be saved with a “filling in” the crack and band it around the outside?
