I love Erie and have lived here for over 26 years, but I was born in England! So my British roots make me fond of PG Tips Tea & cookies, and prone to sunburn. Married for seven years, I have an adorable scrumptious daughter named Chloe who smiles at everyone and has changed my life. My favorite animals are cats, and I have two – if you come to my house for a consult, they’ll probably get right in your face while we chat My guilty pleasures are anything chocolate, The Twilight Saga, Thursday night TV (I seriously watch almost every show) and watching Will & Grace reruns at bedtime. I always wear glasses except when I shoot. Our idea of a night out is out to dinner and home by 7pm, and playing nerdy board games with our friends. Random fact: I’ve never been to Florida. I know, what!?

When I shoot, I love it to be fresh and fun, while capturing the emotion and feeling in a safe space created for you to be your best.

The boring stuff: I studied graphic design and photography at Mercyhurst College, graduating in 2004, and then got married 3 weeks later and took a job at an advertising agency! I worked full-time as an Art Director at this agency for five years, until I left and become the proud owner of my own business full-time. I have been shooting weddings, portraits and families professionally since 2008. I also sing at my church, Grace, where my husband is a pastor.

Puremotif was a name that was born in college out of my love for pattern, theme and pure design & photography. I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Erie PA and the surrounding areas, and I also do graphic design work. My mission is to give you beautiful, functional design and photography. Providing the highest quality service I can, I work with you to understand your specific needs and goals.
