I have the honor of photographing this little girl every month for her first year. Sofie’s story is so unique. She is the blessed little baby who has her loving adoptive parents, Kristie & Rob who adopted her in November at birth. And she has the honor of knowing her birth mother & father (Rhi & Rob) interact with her on a regular basis. For more about their beautiful story, check out Kristie’s blog here.

Here are a few from Sofie’s newborn family session at the hospital, and then a few from month 2. We missed month one but caught up with some beautiful photographs in January. Here’s the litte sweetheart! Sofie you are so blessed with so many who love you!

Two of my amazing couples for 2012 weddings fit in some engagement sessions over the holiday. We had such a blast, even though the weather sucked both days! But that’s Erie… and that’s winter.. Kara emailed me and asked if there was any way I could fit in a quick family session as her mom, stepdad and brother were in town for a few short days from Colorado! Kara and her husband Mark have two children, Zoe & Max who are just adorable, and so we wanted to get some of the four of them alone as well. It was a fun session and here’s some of my favorites!

Erica & Joe are one of the most fun couples! We cancelled the session once because of a rain storm… and then almost got rained out again but decided to just brave the grey weather and I’m so glad we did. I had so much fun with them, listening to stories and watching them make each other laugh We started out on Mercyhurst’s beautiful campus and then moved down by the waterfront to the Bayfront Sheraton skyway. Enjoy! Can’t wait for your wedding next year guys!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I will not be taking any more clients for fall sessions due to my high workload right now and need of a personal rest period over the holidays. When Kendra called me to set up some pictures for their 2 year anniversary, I was so excited! It’s always an honor to get to photograph your past wedding clients, especially those who are still so happy and in love! We had a great time, even through a little rain, and ventured down to trails around Behrend, in Erie PA for some fall anniversary pics. I couldn’t resist some gorgeous fallf oliage and nature shots as well Enjoy!
