incredible fall season!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I will not be taking any more clients for fall sessions due to my high workload right now and need of a personal rest period over the holidays. If you need family pictures and want to wait for the snow, I’ll hopefully begin booking sessions again in January! Thanks so much for all my amazing amazing clients this year!!!

When Kendra called me to set up some pictures for their 2 year anniversary, I was so excited! It’s always an honor to get to photograph your past wedding clients, especially those who are still so happy and in love! We had a great time, even through a little rain, and ventured down to trails around Behrend, in Erie PA for some fall anniversary pics. I couldn’t resist some gorgeous fallf oliage and nature shots as well Enjoy!

This wedding was completely special to me, as Aaron is my second cousin and he and my sister and I all grew up together. In fact Amy even graduated with him! So getting to see a family member tie the knot with such an incredible young lady, Hollie, was a joyful event for everyone. Aaron & Hollie met while working together at the Sarah Reed Children’s Center, and originally wouldn’t date because Hollie had a rule about dating co-workers! After various circumstances, they met again outside of work, talked and talked, and the rest was history!

Even though the rain was cold and wet and not the ideal weather setting we had envisioned, we made the best of it in a short time and I think got some of my favorite documentary shots ever. It was easy with such a beautiful and in love, happy couple! Enjoy – here’s a bunch more on flickr.

Also check out this new mural on a medical building on 8th street… perfect much? Even though it was pitch black when we were done we had to stop!

Hey everyone! I was sooo happy to get outside and get to photography Lindsey, Sarah & Katharyn today. S&K flew in from Texas to hang out with their friend Lindsey who’s been living in cold Erie for a few years now. They also surprised her with their long-time friend Darla – more pictures to come with her included. Here’s a few favorite moments from this morning. It was so warm out – now we just need all that foliage to fill in

So, major blow and oversight on my part. I forgot to include my SISTER and brother-in-law’s engagement pictures in my favorite engagement wrap up?? For some reason I had stored her pictures in a different folder so I had forgotton about these gems. I have to say though, these are truly some of my favorites I’ve taken all year as well and I thought, to rectify this, they were gonna get their own blog post I’d never blogged them before anyway so it’s not even a repeat!

They are married now and everything is awesome. We had a great time doing these, and aren’t they just the most gorgeous subjects? I’m so happy for them and grateful we got to do these and especially in May. Can I just say that springtime/early May and cherry blossoms are my favorite and will forever be my favorite time to shoot?

This bench at my Aunt Paula’s house is one of my favorite spots to shoot. And I love how this one turned out!
