I designed this logo for the Old Charm Bed & Breakfast in St. Mary’s, PA. The client, owner Michael, wanted something modern yet mixed with a traditional and of course, charming feeling. We went through a few rounds of ideas and settled on this. The actual filigree illustration in the rounded square is based on the top of a chandelier that I found and loved. He chose the colors of maroon and limey green — they are favorites of his! Looks like he’s already implemented it on his website too

I looove working on projects like this – they are the dream for a designer!

ashley & matt’s christmas-time wedding

I’m skipping way ahead to post this blog so you can all have one last whiff of Christmas before everything is put away and we forget it happened! Ashley & Matt’s wedding was for me a total surprise – I wasn’t planning on doing any in December and a friend referred me because there was a contract mix-up! I’m so glad I did it though and it turned out to be so fun – even trecking out in the snow!! There’s a bunch more here!

Well, I know I’ve been really bad at keeping up to date with my weddings. I’m hoping to get them all blogged for you over these winter months! So without further ado…

On September 4, Rachel & Adam were united in holy marriage! It was a beautiful night and we had a lot of fun My awesome sister, Amy, assisted me shooting, and my amazing and talented friend, Danielle, assisted me with editing. All of us together gave this couple a special set of pictures I hope they will treasure forever. You can see more here.

Late October & November Weddings

Most of my prime wedding weekends are booked for 2010, but I still have the weekends of October 23 and 30th as well as any weekends in November & December available for booking! Don’t discount late fall weddings – they really can still be awesome!

Just wanted to put that out there Also after Thanksgiving I hope to get back into blogging regularly, my goal is at least 2x a week! So look forward to seeing lots of pictures from weddings, engagement sessions, and seniors from the fall that I haven’t revealed yet!

Katie & John had a beautiful wedding at St. Cyril & Methodius (the most Orthodox & colorful church I’ve shot at so far) and the Avalon Hotel. I’ve never taken as many pictures of the bridal party as I did at this wedding! They were crazy picture people! We had so much fun taking pics on the grounds of the church, the Bayfront dock, and then the County Courthouse before heading to the reception! Check out the full album here:

HEY everyone! I am alive Just trying to get through everything. My calendar is pretty much booked for 2010 weddings now, as with the baby I am taking on a lot less than this year. The only free dates I have left are October 30th and I could take any weekend in November.

Anyway, this wedding season is wrapping up, with 5 more left for the fall. I have to be honest… I am definitely ready for a break! These are the weddings that have been keeping me busy right now.

Hey! Didn’t I used to blog the weddings I’m shooting all the time? Things have been a little crazy lately, and I’m finally feeling like I’m getting a little caught up, but considering the insane 4 weddings in 2 weekends (sept 4/5, 11/12) is coming up, I should just bite my tongue.

Jaclyn & Andrew met me at the Bridal show at the Ambassador and we clicked so well they booked me right on the spot. I was so excited to shoot their wedding because I knew there was going to be a ton of color – mainly PINK! jessica & brian are engaged

Jessica, Brian and I had a fantastic shoot! It was almost raining the whole time, and we almost got arrested, and almost hit by a train. But I think it was so worth it! Their wedding is September of 2010 and I’m excited to work with them again.

I can’t remember where I saw this pose but I had to try it.

Those random weeds are just perfect for romantic pictures!

We had to walk about four miles around a stopped train to get to the tracks. Ok so it was more like 1/5th of a mile. But anyway it was an adventure!

I had to include these as a series because the first is when we attempted the pose, and the second picture is when Brian realized that a train was coming, and coming FAST and that we were in mortal peril! We ran off those tracks so fast! And then we saw a cop in the parking lot, but luckily he let us go on our way despite our trespassing!
