Sarah & Ben had a beautiful ceremony at St. Gregory Church, in North East, PA with a reception at the gorgeous Lakeview Country Club. We had such a great day together and got some beautiful shots. The reception was a blast and the cake was gorgeous. Everything worked together for this wedding and I was so honored to get to shoot it for them!

This maternity shoot was so special to me for a few reasons. First, because Erin and I went to college together and studied the same major… art with a concentration in graphic design. Now she is a successful art teacher and I am a photographer… it’s fun that we stayed in our field but yet went in different directions!

It was also special because being so close to my own baby being born, it brought back so many memories of being pregnant with Chloe and the amazing anticipation and other emotions that run high in the last few weeks of a pregnancy. Aaaah… we were all in tears at one point. Well, actually just Erin & I I think

Here is a quick edit with a few of my favorites from the night! Wanted to get some up before Erin actually had the baby! Erin & Kevin were so cute together, and you can tell they are SOOO excited. They also don’t know if they are having a boy or a girl yet so I can’t wait to find out as well! Here they are on flickr.

I think they wore pink & blue to cover both bases

My friend Mindy’s daughter Kenzie had a beautiful photo session at my parents “english garden.” It was such a blast and she is such a cutie. One of my favorite things is capturing little children at these ages. They are small for such a short time. Here’s some of my favorites, and you can see even more here!

Here are some of my favorites from my photoshoot of the adorable Brecken taken at Shades Beach at the beginning of June. He was so great, and really responded to his all our high pitched talking and funny faces to give us some good smiles and interesting shots! Also, he has the most unbelievable eyes!

Holly & Ryan were married at a quaint and beautiful church in Conneautville, PA called St. Peter’s Catholic Church with a reception at Union Station in Erie, PA. The day started out very rainy and grey, but got beautiful by the evening, and this couple did not let the rain get them down!

Well the 2010 Wedding Season is on for me and I’m back to work after an amazing few months off from shooting to get to know my new baby girl. My first two weddings have been great, except for some rough rain at the beginning of the 2nd one, and I’m excited to be back and hoping to make this year the best one yet.

Here are a few pictures from Jody & Matt’s wedding at the Peak, the Lodge. It was so beautiful. Truly, if you can have an outdoor wedding and get the right weather, there is nothing like it!!

Our beautiful daughter Chloe Grace was born March 9, 2010, weighing 8lbs 2.5 oz and 21 inches long at 11:18am. We are totally taken with her. Life has completely turned upside down for this little one! It’s amazing and hard all at the same time!

So bear with me if I don’t get back to inquiries right away or respond to your emails and calls. I promise to try to stay as caught up as possible Here’s a bunch more pictures too.

max’s baby annoucement

I worked on this last year and never got a chance to blog it! It also features original photography that I took when Max was only a month or so old. This mother wanted an announcement that also featured her other children so we made a card that allowed more room for that photo on the inside.

And below are some portraits I took of him and the rest of the kids about 2-3 months later when Max was almost 4 months.

Remember fall?? It was so pretty!

My good friend Christa just worked on a website for our mutual friend CJ Kilroy! I being the lucky girl I am got to take her portraits for it. We had a lot of fun and I think they turned out great, really capturing her happy and positive personality! Here’s a few of my favorites from the shoot itself, and you can see some more here.

old charm inn logo

I designed this logo for the Old Charm Bed & Breakfast in St. Mary’s, PA. The client, owner Michael, wanted something modern yet mixed with a traditional and of course, charming feeling. We went through a few rounds of ideas and settled on this. The actual filigree illustration in the rounded square is based on the top of a chandelier that I found and loved. He chose the colors of maroon and limey green — they are favorites of his! Looks like he’s already implemented it on his website too

I looove working on projects like this – they are the dream for a designer!
